REPORT HELLO THERE

Introduction-

One month ago, we were told to join  an ICT project, with a Brazilian school. We were going to do it in groups, selected by our teacher, Miss Jenny and the Brazilian teacher Miss Anamaria. I was with a Caro Santoz and a girl called Isabella. We talked with Isabella through a platform called Edmodo. The project started on April 10th April. We made a video to introduce ourselves to the Brazilian teenagers, so we took some pictures of ourselves. The main objective of the project was to learn about the different life style in other countries, in this case, Brazil.

PROJECT-

The day we started the project with Caro and Isabella. We started a bit shy talking about weather. Later I asked her if she did any sport, but she did not. She was thinking in start again volleyball and then I told her I do field hockey.

She lives in Uberlandia, who she says is a very modern city in Mines Gerais’s State. In holidays, is very rare for her to see her cousins and uncles. Normally, her family goes to Uberlandia to visit her. She says that her grandmothers and grandfathers live in Sao Pablo. She also has a very nice little white dog. That’s all we talked about. Later, we connected, with some Brazilian girls, the 2 teachers, Caro Staneloni, Lucas Nieto, Luli Lema, Justine, Mili and me, through Adobe connect were we could see ourselves and talk more about some of our trips and experiences of this project. I talked about a trip I had once when I went to Bariloche.

CONCLUSION-

It was really fun this project for me! I like to meet people from other countries. I learned a lot about Brazil’s culture. I also realized that Jenny knows Brazilian language. I hope we could do more often this type of projects.
