Report Hello there

Introduction: One month ago, Miss Jennifer told us by Whatsapp, that we were going to start a new project. The following day in class she told us that we would talk in groups with a group of Brazilian teenagers using a webpage called Edmodo. The project would start the 10th of April and we had to make a video to introduce ourselves to the Brazilian students. Miss Jennifer took us some photos that were added in the video. We were excited of starting the project. After a couple of problems in which I was added to a gropu with nobody in, I  was added to Group 15 with Ronaldo T and a girl of my class (Carolina Staneloni). The objective of the project was to learn about the life of the students in Brazil and teach them about Argentina and our lifes. That was difficult for me because I lived in Spain until I was 12 yerars old. I didn’t study in a bilingual school until last year so I don’t know a lot about the Argentinian culture.

Project: The 10th of April we started talking to each other. We started asking Ronaldo where he lives. He told us he lives in Uberlandia, a city in the State of Mines Gerais. He also told us that the city is popular because UFU university is located there and people go there to study. We also asked him about his favourite music and traditional music in Brazil. He answered that he likes the same music that us and Guns n roses. Brazilian music is called Sertanajo and Arrocha and Gustavo Lima and Lucas Lucco were the most favorite singers. He also told us what he does to have fun. He goes to parties when he does not have to study, he rides his bike, he goes out at nights and play with friends. He also prefer house parties and he is good at skateboarding.

In Uberlandia they celebrate something similar to Carnival called “Festa Junina”. He told us that Uberlandia is nice because of the security, restaurants and shopping’s. His school is COC. He studies almost the hole day until the evening, his uniform is just a t-shit.

Conclusion: After he told us about their school he didn’t connect again to Edmodo. During the Adobe connect webinar a girl told us that he was on a trip. However we are very happy of meeting new people of another country. It is a good experience to learn about other countries. We liked the project and we discovered than his life is not so different than ours.
