Project hello there!

   The aim of this Project was to interact with teenagers of our age from a different country, that have  distinct cultures, and also to make new friends! The teachers in charge of this challenging Project were Jennifer Verschool from Argentina and Ana María Menezes from Brazil. It started on the 10th of April and finished on the 14th of May; However with my partner, a 15 yeared –old girl named Thais Helena Souza Silva, we are planning to continue talking  by Whatsapp, due to the fact that we found out that we have a lot in common and we get along.

   Thais Helena is from Überlandia and she was my companion during this amazing project, and now she is my friend. She likes the same music as I do, for instance Imagine Dragons, The Wanted, Aviccii, Calvin Harris, Rihanna, The Vamps, etc., we shared lots of songs and information about famous bands and artists. She went to the Lollapalooza, a festival in Brazil, and sent me a video and photos I really loved. We also talked about our family, pets, she has a puppy called Toby. She likes science-fiction films, such as Divergent and The Hunger Games. We shared our likes in food and our hobbies, she loves singing, dancing and listening to music. She seems to be an extraordinary person, and I would love to meet her some day. From the beginning, we liked each other and we weren´t shy at all to start chatting.  She also sent me pictures of Überlandia, which seems as a really nice city, and I would love to go in the future.

   I saw this project  as an opportunity to make new friends, and learn from other people, which is something I personally savored. Although, at first I was a little nervous about the idea that she may not like me, it came up that we got along so well that I still chat with her, and follow her on Twitter. When we were supposed to meet in AdobeConnect she didn´t show up, by virtue of she was ill. Therefore, I hope we meet next time.

   To wrap up, I learned lots of thing from this project, such as how life is for people of my same age in a different part of the world, that notwithstanding it´s not so far away from Argentina, things are very different, and I find that very interesting. I sometimes underestimate myself as I thought I wouldn´t be able to communicate very well, nonetheless this Project showed me I am perfectly capable of it, and I had a great time chatting and sheareing with my partner. To boot, I´m grateful I could learned so much, and I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did!
